What We Do

In June 2014, while on deployment in Afghanistan, three young men from the NJ National Guard were nervous about coming back and reintegrating to civilian life. To cope with those feelings and to connect with their fellow Veterans, they created a Facebook page to use humor and memes as a coping mechanism.

When one of the Soldiers that Chapi deployed with took his own life shortly after returning, it gave him a new purpose in life, that purpose was helping Veterans any way that he could. He would take calls, texts and respond to messages at all hours of the day and night from Veterans in need.

After the first fund raising event held with DV6 of Dysfunctional Veterans, he knew that this was his calling. He has been helping to raise awareness, money and support for Veterans in need the world over.

Chapi has built an amazing team of volunteers that help run this organization. Together, we have helped countless Veterans come back from the verge of suicide, gotten them into therapy following traumatic events, and raised thousands of dollars for Veteran non-profit organizations like 22 Until None and DV Farm

Our Mission

We are a group of veterans and active duty members that are passionate about the veteran community. We assist veterans in crisis through our network, and aide in combating veteran homelessness, suicide, and issues within the Department of Veteran Affairs.
